COVRSE OBJECTIVES:

This course is designed as a review of Latin morphology and syntax and as an introduction to the reading of connected Latin prose.

TESTING AND GRADING:

There will be two midterm examinations (66% total) and a final (34% total.) In case of a borderline grade, the instructor may (but is not obliged to) consider factors such as superior classroom participation. Students concerned about their course grade should consult the instructor at once. No extra credit work will be assigned or accepted. Letter grades will be assigned as follows:

90-100%= A; 80-89%= B; 70-79%= C; 60-69%= D; 59%-below= F
