Class H1N1 Virus Policy - Fall 2009
Any
student experiencing flu-like symptoms (particularly a fever) is
strongly encouraged to "self-isolate" by staying at home until at least
24 hours until the fever has passed. This will help the MSU community
stay as free as possible from the H1N1 virus (click here for more information on H1N1).
If
you do have to "self-isolate," all you need do for purposes of my class
is to inform me via campus email. You will not need to provide a
doctor's note, because medical facilities will likely be busy enough as
it is. The most important thing is that you take care of yourself and
of the people around you; getting you back on track with your
coursework can wait.
In the (hopefully unlikely) event that I
contract H1N1, all students in all of my courses will be notified via
campus email in a timely fashion, along with directions for continuing
their coursework.
